Do SETA Interventions Change Security Behavior? : A Literature Review

Information security education, training, and awareness (SETA) are approaches to changing end-users’ security behavior. Research into SETA has conducted interventions to study the effects of SETA on security behavior. However, we lack aggregated knowledge on ‘how do SETA interventions influence security behavior?’. This study reviews 21 empirical SETA intervention studies published across the top IS journals. The theoretical findings show that the research has extended Protection Motivation Theory by (1) enhancements to fear appeals; (2) drawing attention to relevance; (3) incorporating temporality; (4) and shifting from intentions to behavior. Niewykorzystany potecjał nowych technologii informacyjnych w edukacji

Niniejszy tekst podejmuje temat niewykorzystanego potencjału nowych technologii informacyjnych w edukacji. Opisane zostały w nim wybrane stanowiska teoretyczne dotyczące społecznego i kulturowego wymiaru rozwoju technologicznego. Ponadto, opisano zaczerpnięte z praktyki edukacyjnej przykłady, ukazujące, jak traktowanie nowych technologii wyłącznie w wymiarze instrumentalnym przyczynia się do formułowania celów edukacji, które nie przystają do wyzwań stawianych współczesnemu człowiekowi przez rzeczywistość społeczną, w której żyje.
Terminoloģijas lietojums mobilo iekārtu lietošanas instrukcijās

Maģistra darbā pētīts terminoloģijas lietojums mobilo iekārtu lietošanas instrukcijās. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt vienotas terminoloģijas pieejamību tehniskās nozares terminoloģijai, kura izmantota mobilo iekārtu lietošanas pamācībās. Pētījumā izmantotās metodes ir teorētisko materiālu (grāmatu un publikāciju) apskats un izmantotās terminoloģijas un tās tulkojumu analīze. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka lielākajai daļai no atlasītajiem terminiem nav pieejams vienots tulkojums, vai termins darināts latviešu valodā, kas secīgi noved pie situācijas, kurā tulkotājs kļūst par valodnieku, kuram jādarina terminoloģiskās frāzes.

Darbā ir sniegts pārskats par programmatūras testēšanu metalīmenī. Autors ir izpētījis aspektus, kas ietekmē funkcionālo testēšanu jo īpaši iOS lietotnēm, kā arī mobilajām lietotnēm kopumā. Darbā ir izpētītas arī drošības iespējas un izstrādes/testēšanas “pārpalikumi”, kas bieži tiek atstāti bez ievērības un nesakārtoti lietotņu ātrākai pieejamībai tirgū. Atsevišķa nodaļa ir veltīta mobilo lietotāju saskarņu automātisko testēšanas rīku pētīšanai un klasterizācijai. “Ārā no kastes” Apple UIAutomation rīka ierobežojumu pārvarēšana ir apvienota tTap ietvarā, kuru izstrādāja autors. Il concetto, ormai pervasivo di smartness urbana conduce spesso ad una visione della città ipertecnologica. Troppo frequentemente le discipline dell’urbanistica e della pianificazione territoriale vengono ridotte a comprimarie rispetto ad una visione orizzontale, di tipo social o wiki, che fa smarrire il senso della visione di comunità in quanto le città sembrano capaci di autogovernarsi.
